Sand is one of Nature's ever-changing mediums. Wind and water continually shape and resurface sand into different textures and patterns, leaving something exciting behind to photograph. This makes sand an excellent and dynamic medium for abstract photography. Whenever I'm around sand, whether it's the desert or the beach, I always look forward to finding new patterns and textures to photograph.
