Dolphins have enchanted me ever since I was a little girl. I was very fortunate to grow up in a family of scuba divers, and the ocean was an essential part of my upbringing. I had the chance to free dive and interact with wild dolphins growing up, and I witnessed their interactions with fellow dolphins and other humans. Dolphins are very much like us in many ways, as they form deep social and family bonds, they work together to hunt for food, and they take the time to play and learn about their environment. They seem to be as curious about us as we are of them. A few years ago, I had the chance to reconnect with these amazing souls, and this time I had a camera in hand. What started as a personal project has now blossomed into frequent trips out to continue photographing wild dolphins.
I look forward to each visit, as every experience teaches me something new, and I rekindle my relationship with the dolphins and the ocean. In this gallery, you'll find photos that I've taken on this incredible journey, where for a few hours at a time, they welcome my lens and myself to capture their world and interactions.
