Over the years, my photographic interests have shifted towards Nature's smaller scenes. These are typically scenes where the sky is eliminated (not always, though), and the focus is on smaller details and compositions. Small scenes are the untold stories within the grander landscapes. All of my small scenes are photographed with my mid-range or telephoto lens, and one of my favorite aspects of nature photography is letting my eyes wander the landscape through my lens to find these smaller yet powerful little scenes. I find small scenes very inspiring, and they have given my photography a renewal of excitement. Below you'll find a collection of small scenes I've photographed over the years.
